Introduce a Freedom of Information Act and institutionalize open data for all government ministries and agencies. Repeal the Official Secrets Act. Every initiative led by the government and policies practiced should be aired on the government owned media and channels for increased awareness and transparency of the system put in place.

Institutionalize participatory budgeting for all local councils in accordance with the practices of International Budget Partnership. Allocate 10% of developmental budget of city council for participatory budgeting. Get residents of locale to outline key projects, vote on the projects, gather as citizens assembly and own the implementation of the project

- Reintroduce local council election of councilors (include mayors or local council head)
- Decentralize Federal Powers and empower state governments and local authorities for local affairs, such as fire services, public transportation, appointment of state and local police chief,.
- Allow state governments and local authorities to impose particular taxes in their jurisdiction, such as sales tax, carbon tax, etc.

Declassify the IRC report and work on its 223 recommendations on improving governance, integrity and strategy on anti-corruption. The report contains recommendations that were systematically collected from many stakeholders and experts and will help speed up institutional transformation that will put the country on a solid footing post-pandemic

Bring back local council elections so that the local councils can be held accountable for their actions.
