Malaysia has 14.4% of female representation in parliament and is lacking in other leadership and law making roles. The 30% (state where the benchmark is from) has not been achieved

Cadangan Penyelesaian:

1) Implement a zero-tolerance policy towards GBV and discrimination, including by amending the Parliamentary standing orders.

2) Implement and institutionalise 30% quota for women representation in state and federal-level decision making bodies

Malaysia mempunyai 14.4% perwakilan wanita di Parlimen dan kurang mempunyai perwakilan dalam kepimpinan dan peranan sebagai pembuat undang-undang dan dasar. 30% kuota sebagai penanda aras minimum masih belum dilaksanakan.

Penyelesaian:

1) Melaksanakan dasar sifar-toleransi terhadap keganasan berasaskan gender (GBV), termasuklan dengan meminda Peraturan Mesyuarat Parlimen.
2) Melaksanakan dan menginstitusikan kuota minimum 30% sebagai pembuat keputusan di peringkat negeri dan persekutuan
