Pernyataan masalah:
The community especially the vulnerable are not aware of the many policies/laws practised in Malaysia leaving them with no awareness and often in dark not understanding the current procedures - whether in the areas of education, birth registrations, access to government aids, subsidiaries or any government agency led initiatives.
Nilai dan Kepercayaan:
Ensure Transparency and Access to Information. Promote open data and freedom of information as a prerequisite to open data communication.
Cadangan Penyelesaian:
Introduce a Freedom of Information Act and institutionalize open data for all government ministries and agencies. Repeal the Official Secrets Act. Every initiative led by the government and policies practiced should be aired on the government owned media and channels for increased awareness and transparency of the system put in place.
